She married Denis Sawinkin 19th February 1973 and has two children, Alexander who was born 30th October 2001 and Ignatus, who was born 31st July 2003.
Patricia plays guitar, percussion, harp, piano and accordian.
During the time of the Kelly Kids, it was only the oldest kids who were aloud to sing in the band, but Patricia also wanted to sing.
Her father said that she was too young, but if she learned to play the guitar on all the songs in two weeks she could join them. Patricia sat down with the guitar and two weeks later she was singing on the street with the rest of the family, as well as playing the guitar. Mama kelly made her a dress for her first special performance, and she sung "Blanco Es El Nino."
She has had two hit singles, 'No lies' and 'first time' with the Kellys, but started her own solo project in 2008.
When Patricia missed a whole tour in 1996 and an infamous coffee machine fell on her head and "knocked her out", a lot of horrible rumours appeared in newspaper and magazine articles. A few months later Patricia explained that she severely suffered from myelitis. It took her a lot of time, energy and discipline to recover.
